John Wall is SEC Freshman of the Week

For the second straight week, John Wall is named SEC freshman of the Week. The Wildcat players have won all three weeks. The first week went to diaper dandy Eric Bledsoe. John Wall is really living up to the hype as he is the leading scoring freshman in the nation with 19.0 points a game. In their 68-66 win against UNC, John Wall had 16 points had put the game away with clutch free throws. As skilled as Wall is, it's truly amazing how clutch he is, especially for a freshman. it's obvious that Wall will declare for the draft after this season, but Wall has the ability, with Patrick Patterson, Eric Bledsoe, and Demarcus Cousins, to make a deep run in March. What was planned to be a rebuilding year for Calipari, could turn out to be a memorable one.
